The Cluster Grenade is a hand-held throwable in both Crackdown and Crackdown 2. It is an Explosive manucactured by the Shai-Gen Corporation.

Appearance

The Cluster Grenade is a round Throwable painted Red with a light blue circular rim located on the inside of the models base, with a small Shai-Gen symbolised logo plasted on the front of the Grenade.

Crackdown

Only found in the Corridor district of Pacific City, it tends to be found among groups of soliders of the Shai-Gen Corporation. While its blast radius is not as good compared to the other Grenadess found in game, it is set apart uniquely by it's detonation of 8 or more explosives that disperse from the inside after contact with ground or other solid surfaces. Making it a very powerful explosive and considered one of the best equipments the players can use in game.

Crackdown 2

The Cluster Grenade functions much like its first game counterpart, only difference is when the players Explosive Skills level up the grenade will dispense less explosive that come out of the grenade. By time the players Agent has reached max Explosives, only two or three will disperse permenantly afterwards. The remnants of the Explosive was picked up and taken by Cell for their own use, likely from remains of the Shai-Gens artillery.

• Like the Shrapnel Grenade, pairing this with something like the Grenade Launcher can cause severe area damage.
