(The page is constantly changed, so some information may be incorrect or theoretical until proven true).
This page is dedicated to pre release cut content related to the Crackdown games. The following contents listed are either the subjects of: Weapons, Characters, Vehicles, Maps, etc.
Crackdown[]
Throughout the development of the first Crackdown, many things were changed and even more was cut from the final release. The game was originally set to have a much more futuristic style that was toned back in the final release. This section uses information details from the games beta prototype builds.
Factions[]
Los Muchachos[]
Los Muchachos was the original planned name given to the Cartel, it is known to be translated in Spanish for "The Boys".
Tojina[]
Tojina was the original name given to the Militia, although the name was changed early on, it can still be seen in the final games intro cutscene.
Cai-Shen Corporation[]
In the alpha versions of Crackdown, The dossiers referred to the Corporation as Cai-Shen. Both are believed to have been the original names planned for the Shai-Gen Corporation.
Unnamed Biker Faction[]
(Coming back to this later).
Weapons[]
The Revolver[]
The Revolver was a weapon that appeared in the early stages of Crackdown, it was a weapon that was worked on all the way until the later stages of the game. Despite this, an unused icon can still be found in the final game of the gun itself.
AK-47[]
The only proof of this weapon existing is a leftover icon, meaning it likely didn't get far into development. However, in Crackdown 2, Cell use a similar assault rifle called the Ingalls AL-107. Which is modelled with notable characteristics of an AK Soviet Rifle.

Soundtrack[]
AmbientTune (September 1st, 2005 build)[]
A track intended to be played when you idled around at high places. This feature would make it to final but the song would be entirely changed.
AmbientTune (April 3rd, 2006 build)[]
An earlier version of the finalised song, mainly being shorter and having minute differences (Not documented so far).
InventoryScreen[]
This is a song found within the early pre-release builds. It is unknown where the track would have been used, but it was most likely to have been used in the dossier menu (It can also be heard within the dossier videos themselves).
Streaming.xwb[]
Every build has this file, even final, but each contain differences which are often noteworthy to add here.
September 1st, 2005[]
This build's version of the file contain faction themes exclusive to it, most likely used for the radio.

E3 2006 (Move this into the timeline stuff I'm gonna do later)[]
The E3 2006 Demo was an interim period between the original game's more sci-fi style and the grounded futuristic style the game later adopted, and still contained many 2005 / early 2006 assets. The HUD was closer to final, but still contained a number of differences. There is footage and images of this build online, it is presumed to have either been stolen either during or after E3. The icon in the upper right corner featured in this build is leftover in the files.
