The Sniper is a long-range Agency weapon in Crackdown 2. It has a 15 round magazine which can be fired at a relatively quick pace and has a silencer attached.

The weapon is unique compared to other sniper rifles in the game due to its integral silencer attachment, making it significantly quieter. However, due to the technological advancements, as well as the open combat prevalent in Pacific City at that time, its suppressed capability is rendered nearly useless as enemies instantly fight back once one of their members is killed by it. Nevertheless, the weapon can easily kill most regular Cell members in one to two shots. It is less useful against Cell Juggernaut and Cell Mini-Gunner, however, due to their body armor.
It is is unlocked at Level 2 Firearms. Peacekeepers can also be found using this weapon but only in higher places in Tactical Locations. These Peacekeepers are usually referred to as just "Snipers".
Trivia[]
- Although the scope is useless due to the armor's HUD, Agents are still able to use the precision targeting system at long rages.
- Despite looking like an original made weapon, it is just the Assault Rifle with some sniper attachments.
- It is probably based around the MK.12 Rifle.
- This rifle and Punisher from Crackdown are the only weapons to have a silencer.
