Stunt Rings are hexagonal purple markers which float in the air. Passing through one, whilst driving a vehicle will contribute to the players Driving skill.
Crackdown[]
In Crackdown, there are 39 stunt rings around Pacific City. The stunt rings appear when the player is driving in a vehicle. Once the player passes through the ring in a vehicle, the stunt ring will disappear and give the player some experience toward the driving skill. Passing through all 39 of the stunt rings will award the player with the achievement 'Ring Leader'.
Here are some tips that are beneficial for completing all the stunt rings in Crackdown:
- Use the Agency SUV for most of the hard-to-reach stunt rings, this vehicle also has a bunny hop action by pressing B which gives you move leverage in the air than most vehicles.
- Brining ramp trucks to the stunt rings and launching your vehicle of choice over them will give you more time in the air, this combined with a perfectly timed bunny hop will give you enough air time to go through some of the harder stunt rings.
- If traffic is a problem for launching to stunt rings, then either use the pavement or wait until night when the traffic is less busy.
Crackdown 2[]
Stunt rings return in Crackdown 2, but are now called vehicle stunts. In total, there are 40 vehicle stunts in Crackdown 2. These vehicle stunts require the player to pass through several stunt rings in order to complete a vehicle stunt successfully. Completing all 40 vehicle stunts will award the player with the 'Stuntman' achievement.
